Oh yes! A lot of boat for a tiny initial outlay followed by 8 months of replacements and refits - the bilges are my personal favourites as there are soooo many nooks and crannies that have wonderful bits of fibre glass strands sticking out.
Those little buggers really hurt!
Still, met some good friends in the marina (not salty - just sweaty) and the boat has only one old part left attached to it now..the name so is good for another 30 years I'm told.
HI.....I have a Joemarin 34, and am looking for a cutlass bearing, which seems to be very non standard. It is made of a very thin hard plastic type material, and measures 30mm inside diam, and 35mm outside, fitted into a brass tube. Was your the same? - any info appreciated; also re stern gland. Thanks, Les.

Ooh, very exciting stuff!
But didn't someone describe a boat as a hole in the water into which you pour money?
:-)

Hi Les
Sorry for not replying sooner - lost your comment!
I don't have any details for the items as they were replaced by Marine Power at Deacons boatyard.
Regards
David
